Show-Me Golfscapes's Artificial Putting Green Installation Guide

Breaking Ground

When building each custom practice green or synthetic lawn area, the area is dug out, removing any sod or existing landscape. Capping or rerouting any irrigation is accomplished at this time. The synthetic turf is rolled out over a minimum four inch sub-base of compacted gravel allowing for rain to easily drain. The synthetic turf's fibers are then brushed and infill is added causing the fibers to stand up, exposing only the tips of the fibers.
